Belianska Cave Tour from Zakopane

Cross into Slovakia for a half-day visit to Belianska Cave, the only show cave in the High Tatras.

Starting with pickup from your accommodation in Zakopane, Kościelisko, Bukowina Tatrzańska, Białka Tatrzańska or the surrounding area, travel to Tatranská Kotlina on the Slovak side of the mountains.

From the village, a forest path leads uphill to the cave entrance. The walk is around 1 km and takes approximately 25 minutes. Inside, the guided cave route lasts around 70 minutes, passing through underground chambers, calcite formations, flowstone waterfalls and pools.

The cave stays cool throughout the year, making this a very different Tatra experience from the mountain viewpoints and outdoor attractions above ground.

Private Tour
Follows the same itinerary with a vehicle reserved only for you and your group. If you would prefer a different departure time or would like to adjust the pace of the tour, add your request in the booking notes and we will accommodate it whenever possible.

This tour crosses the Polish-Slovak border, so please carry a valid travel document with you.

The walk from Tatranská Kotlina to the cave entrance is approximately 1 km uphill and takes around 25 minutes. The cave route itself is about 1,370 m long and includes around 860 steps, so a reasonable level of mobility is required.

The temperature inside the cave remains around 5–6.3°C throughout the year. Bring a warm layer and wear comfortable, closed footwear even during summer.

Belianska Cave operates according to fixed admission times. In the 2026 schedule, regular entries are 9:00–16:00 every hour from June to August and 9:30, 11:00, 12:30 and 14:00 outside the summer season.

The cave is normally closed on Mondays and selected public-holiday or maintenance dates. The operating calendar is checked before confirming your booking.

The cave administration does not provide advance reservations for regular admissions, so the tour schedule is planned around the official entry times and current operating conditions.

Cancellation policy: Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the tour.

Every booking is manually checked before confirmation to make sure the tour is genuinely available and can be operated as planned. This helps us avoid overbooking and last-minute availability issues.

Group tours operate with a minimum of 4 participants. If the minimum number is not reached, we may offer another available date or cancel the tour. If Zakofy cancels your booking, you will receive a full refund. Private tours are confirmed specifically for your booking and operate regardless of the number of participants.
